Bahrain Chamber

The Studies and Initiatives Center at Bahrain Chamber frequently organizes events and workshops that allow business owners, especially SMEs, to network. The events and workshops encourage them to develop their businesses by adopting best practices and inform them of the most prominent economic and commercial developments. 

The Studies and Initiatives Center has also worked on developing the “Iqlaa” initiative to serve SMEs, Iqlaa has been launched on Bahrain Chamber’s mobile app and website, and provides information on everything entrepreneurs need to know to launch their products and services to consumers, or to expand their service offerings. It also provides an overview of various authorities in the Kingdom and the support they provide to SMEs. 

“Iqlaa” contains three main sections, the most prominent of which is a special section on financing, which includes all the bodies that provide financing to SMEs. Additionally, there is a section that lists all incubators and business accelerators in the Kingdom. There is also a section that lists all entities that support SMEs.

BDSME’s

Small and medium enterprises development society of Bahrain was founded in 2012, with the prominent businessman Farouk Youssef AIMoayyed serving as Honorary Chair, and "the presidency of the businessman MP Ahmed Sabah Saloom".

VISION:
Achieving the Society’s basic objectives in supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of Vision 2030 for the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khaliah, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as stipulated in the Society’s statute and that to building a suitable environment for the establishment and development of enterprises as well as the promotion and support of youth to entrepreneurship and establishing their own small and medium businesses in a business-friendly environment, in order to be the engine of growth in the economic sectors in accordance with Bahrain's Vision 2030.    

Training programs offered to beneficiaries:

  • Verifying the feasibility of the project idea or converting the idea into a project.
  • Appropriate pricing for the services and products of the project on the Google search engine.
  • Put the project information on the Google search engine
  • Reviewing the project idea for building companies and social cooperation’s.
  • Learn the basics of accounting for private project management.
  • Using electronic accounting software.
  • Enhancing your project's online presence.

BSMES, or the Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society, is an organization dedicated to the economic future of Bahrain. The society, is one of the premier groups in Bahrain that works with a range of emergent entrepreneurs, existing business partners, industry contacts, and established authorities in the Kingdom to bring about prosperity and growth for all.


 

 
Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization

Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization – a pioneering platform that recognizes Youth and Women Entrepreneurs and their contribution to individual business verticals; an organization that will provide them with a unique opportunity to hone their skills and network with other like-minded individuals. BEO’s aspires are to become a leading organization for Youth and Women Entrepreneurs, to stimulate entrepreneurship and build leadership in areas where they have been underrepresented.


 

 
Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society

The society engages in the development and promotion of economic and social relations between businesswomen in Bahrain and strengthening the role of Bahraini women and their contribution to all commercial, economic, investment, and development activities in the country. The society also prides itself for helping to contribute to projects and social programs and activating the role of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society in areas of social development. Lastly, the society aims to promote the representation of women entrepreneurs in all forums, conferences and seminars locally, within the GCC, in other Arab countries and internationally.
