Registration Services

  1. General oversight and supervision of the implementation and regulation of laws and decisions issued regarding commercial establishments.
  2. Examine applications to register commercial establishments and review supporting documents in accordance with regulations and laws.
  3. Reviewing renewal applications and other requests from commercial establishments.
  4. Conduct studies related to the commercial sector position in the Kingdom of Bahrain and propose the required policies and plans for its development and performance improvement.
  5. Manage, maintain, and operate an electronic system for processing commercial license applications, and ensure its effectiveness and continuous evaluation in coordination with relevant authorities.
  6. Develop procedures and regulations for commercial licensing in accordance with regional and international agreements and treaties to keep pace with economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. 
  7. Raise awareness by providing information and clarifying the specific requirements from commercial establishments for commercial licenses, in coordination with the relevant administrative unit in the ministry.
  8. Provide technical support to establishments using the commercial licensing system in updating activities and procedures, addressing technical issues, and proposing solutions.
  9. Handle complaints and issues related to commercial registrations submitted by commercial establishments. 
  10. Provide various services to GCC investors though facilitating and expediting their commercial procedures and attract them to invest in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  11. Prepare research and studies related to the classifications of economic activities and the impact of branching out commercial activities and study licensing requirements and operational and technical requirements for commercial activities for various government licensing entities.
