H.E. Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed the depth of Bahraini-Korean relations and the strength of their strategic partnership, especially in the fields of trade and economy, confirming the support of both governments to these relations, in light of the distinguished official visits between the two countries.
This came during a meeting with President of Orion Foodstuff Company, in the presence of in the presence of H.E. Minister of Sustainable Development Noor bint Ali Al-Khulaif ,and H.E. Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Aldhaen, and a number of senior officials from both sides, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying economic delegation to South Korea.
His Excellency praised the technical level of the company, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation with international corporations to attract businesses and investments to the Kingdom.
H.E. Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro stressed the importance of strengthening economic ties and developing trade and investment partnerships with South Korea, to ensures sustainable economic growth for the two countries.
This came during a meeting with Mr. Woo Taehee, Vice President of the Korean Chamber of Industry and Commerce “KCCI", in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Aldhaen, and a number of senior officials of both parties, within the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce and the Bahraini economic delegation to South Korea.
The meeting discussed a number of common issues aimed at strengthening economic relations and developing means of trade exchange, and the Minister praised the active role of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and in enhancing trade and industrial exchange between the two countries.

This came during the Bahraini economic delegation's visit to Naver Corp. in the presence of the Minister of Sustainable Development Noor bint Ali Al-Khulaif , and H.E. Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Aldhaen, where H.E. the Minister listened to a brief on the work of NAVER, which specializes in internet, research, artificial intelligence and the development of advanced technologies, including robotics, autonomous driving and others, and contributes to the operation of many digital cities at the global level.
His Excellency stressed the importance of cooperating with NAVER, and benefiting from its global expertise in the field of artificial intelligence, which has become a necessity in all fields and sectors.
Founded in 1999, NAVER is one of the largest Internet companies in South Korea, managing the country's most popular search engine, and the most popular e-commerce platform, as well as providing many other global Internet services, and contributing to building smart cities.

Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Aldhaen, BCCI Second Deputy Chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji, and a number of officials and businessmen in the Korean capital, Seoul, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying economic delegation to South Korea.
During the meeting, His Excellency praised LG's excellence and futuristic vision, pointing to the importance of expanding cooperation with this mega company, which is one of the world's largest companies operating in electronics and telecommunications, as part of developing international economic and investment relations.

Ms. Eman Ahmed Al Doseri headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the 50th meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee, with the participation of Their Excellencies GCC Ministers of Industry and the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, H.E. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), hosted by the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting included a discussion of a number of topics, including the directive of the Ministerial Council at its 155th session on addressing all obstacles preventing economic unity, as well as following up on finding a unified definition of the national "Khaleeji" product and its standards, and other topics.
On behalf of HE Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce H.E. Ms. Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the 64th meeting of the Trade Cooperation Committee, with the participation of Their Excellencies GCC Ministers of Commerce and the GCC Secretary General H.E. Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, a number of topics were discussed, including the establishment of a permanent investment committee, as well as the decisions of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee on completing the implementation of the GCC common market tracks before the end of 2024.

This came during a meeting with Mr. Takaaki Yamamoto, President of Daiki Aluminium Industry corp, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying economic delegation to Japan.
His Excellency discussed the facilities offered by the Government of Bahrain, which contributed to attracting international projects to settle in the Kingdom, and listened to a detailed explanation of the development steps and achievements of Daiki, which is considered one of the most important aluminum manufacturers in the world.
H.E. Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness to increase prospects of cooperation with Japan, especially in trade and economics, and push them towards advanced levels for the benefit and development of both countries.
This came during a meeting with Japanese Digital Minister Taro Kono, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides in Tokyo, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying delegation to Japan.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in investment and economy, by raising the rates of trade exchange between the two sides and benefiting from mutual visits to strengthen rapprochement between economic poles in both countries to reach common aspirations and visions.
