H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association President Rudaina bint Amer Al-Hajariya, in the presence of a number of the Association members and officials from both sides.

The Minister hailed the Association's endeavors to stimulate the economic movement between Bahrain and Oman, praising the success of the activities of the Bahraini-Omani Products Exhibition that was held recently, calling on the private sector on both sides to take advantage of these opportunities to expand business and cooperation.

a number of topics related to enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the two countries were also discussed, in addition to reviewing future plans and programs of the Association.

Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro inaugurated the first edition of the SMEs Development Exhibition – (Omani-Bahraini Products), organized by Bahrain SMEs Development Society in cooperation with the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Society, the Bahraini Embassy in Muscat, and the Omani Embassy in Manama. In the presence Bahrain Society for SMEs Development Chairman H.E. MP Ahmed Al-Salloum, and Bahrain's Ambassador to Oman H.E. Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi, and Omani Ambassador H.E. Mr. Faisal bin Hareb bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and H.E. Ms. Eman Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

H.E. Fakhro stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two countries and affirmed Bahrain's keenness to enhance existing investment opportunities and build more partnerships. In an aim to achieve development goals by adopting many programs and initiatives that support the national economy.

The Minister and attendees toured the exhibition and listened to a detailed explanation from H.E. MP Ahmed Sabah Al-Salloum, Chairman of the Bahrain SMEs Development Society, on the importance and expected gains of this exhibition, which starts May 24 and continues until May 27, and hosts more than 32 entrepreneurs.

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, participated in a gala dinner organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the occasion of the new composition of the Chamber members, in the presence of French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, and FCCIB President Mr. Jean Christophe Duran, and a number of businessmen and investors.

The Minister stressed the depth of industrial and commercial relations between Bahrain and France, praising FCCIB's influential role in consolidating the existing bilateral efforts and stimulating the private sector towards more investments, and pointing out the investment climate and infrastructure that characterizes the Kingdom of Bahrain. Noting in the same context the systems and legislation adopted and continuously developed by Bahrain's government to suit local and global economic conditions and requirements.

The French Chamber in Bahrain (FCCIB) is part of the network of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry abroad (CCI France International), which aim to strengthen French economic ventures and cooperations worldwide. 

H.E. Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro met Nigerian Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides, to discuss a number of common economic issues.

The Minister welcomed Nigerian Minister Dr. Isa Ali, stressing the importance of mutual visits, joint investment and economic projects and positive initiatives of both countries to enhance bilateral cooperation.

H.E. Fakhro spoke of the possibilities and investment opportunities Bahrain provides for investors from all over the world, pointing out the easy procedures and advantages it offers to investors and various investment projects, noting the national strategy that enhances Bahrain's financial and investment position and attracts major international projects, whether in the industrial or commercial sector.

Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim hailed Bahrain's great urban and economic progress, praising the esteemed government's role in attracting foreign investments by facilitating the establishment of distinguished industrial and commercial projects.​

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received in his office this morning Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki, where they reviewed the positive results of the official visit of the Bahraini economic delegation to Japan, wishing that this visit will achieve its expected results.

Their Excellencies also reviewed the bilateral relations between Bahrain and Japan, and ways to enhance cooperation between them in all fields, especially the industrial, commercial and investment fields, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest. ​

The Minister also pointed to the role that the private sector can play in both countries, which can contribute significantly to achieving common goals.

HE Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro received Nepalese Ambassador-Designate to Bahrain Tirtha Raj Wagle.

The Minister welcomed the Ambassador and reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and the positive developments they are witnessing at all levels, noting the importance of continuing to work to consolidate and develop these relations, especially in the industrial and commercial fields to achieve common goals and aspirations. 

For his part, HE the Ambassador praised the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain towards strengthening the bonds of positive cooperation with Nepal.

Minister of Industry and Commerce H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro and Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Park Jin, signed an agreement on air services between their regions and beyond, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Kingdom of Bahrain's economic delegation to the Republic of Korea. 

The Minister of Industry and Commerce explained that this agreement aims to establish and operate air services between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of air transport.

His Excellency also pointed to the Kingdom of Bahrain's leading position in the field of flight services in the region and its commitment to developing cooperation in the field of air transport globally, reflecting the tireless efforts aimed at achieving further growth and development of the air transport sector and other various sectors in the Kingdom.

The signing was witnessed by HE Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic and Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Sh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HE Ambassador Fatima Al Dhaen, Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of South Korea, during a meeting with Korean Minister of Trade, industry and Energy, MOTIE Mr. Ahn Dukgeung, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Aldhaen, and a number of officials from both sides, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Bahraini economic delegation to the Republic of South Korea.

His Excellency hailed Bahraini-Korean relations, noting the role of mutual visits in enhancing commercial and industrial cooperation.
