The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism warns eight cafes in Hamala that provided shisha to customers in their own vehicles and in an area beyond the boundaries of authorized region, which is contrary to the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
These procedures came from the keenness of the Ministry keenness to enhance shops monitoring within its strategy adopted to implement preventive measures.
The Ministry calls all coffee-shop owners to abide the laws and regulations governing these activities.​

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism closes five commercial stores for practicing car maintenance activity and selling spare parts without commercial. All legal procedures will be completed against violators.
These campaigns came from Ministry’s keenness to enhance shops monitoring as part of its strategy adopted to implement preventive measures.
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism seeks to intensify its inspection campaigns against violators. The Ministry also calls all commercial register owners to renew their CRs on time to avoid legal abrogation.

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani received Chief Representative of Fives Company Jean-Christophe DURAND accompanied with Executive Director of French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain FCCIB Ms. Rim Jalali.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the keenness of the government to develop its relations with all countries of the world and its keen to develop the investment environment to attract more international projects. The minister reviewed the investment reality in the Kingdom of Bahrain and initiatives launched by the government and strategies and vision, which has significantly increased foreign investment, and attract large number of projects.   
 
It should be noted that Fives is an industrial engineering Group, Fives designs and supplies machines, process equipment and production lines for the world’s largest industrials including the aluminum, steel, glass, automotive, aerospace , logistics, cement and minerals and energy.

The minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani praised the leading directions of Fellowship Program of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister, which reflects the vision of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to support and develop Bahraini cadres. 
This came during a meeting with Mr. Nabras Taleb from the Office of the First Deputy and Mr. Ahmed Alqayemm, an employee at e-Commerce and Information Technology at the Ministry on the occasion of completing the third patch of the   Fellowship Program. Mr. Ahmed presented to the minister his project on “Developing Sijilat System”
The minister affirmed the keenness of the Ministry and its continuous support to all humans working in the minister and provide them with requirements that will improve employees’ qualifications and expertise. 

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism closed car spare parts shop in Al Naeem area due to practicing car repair activities without license.

The ministry had warned the owner of the shop and warned him in writing to stop immediately, but he continued the violation through the activity, although not obtaining the necessary licenses. The ministry took the necessary legal action and closed the shop.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan and ways to enhance cooperation mechanisms in all fields, especially in industrial, commercial and investment fields, as well as discussing issues of common concern.

The minister wished the new ambassador success in her diplomatic mission, pointing to the role that could be played by the private sector in both countries, which can significantly contribute to achieve common goals.

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani affirmed that hosting a global company such as BASF in the Kingdom of Bahrain is a positive indicator of Kingdom's ability to attract the world's leading investments in the Middle East.
This came during a meeting with Vice President of BASF Mr. Frank Fasdernes, in presence of Undersecretary of Industry Affairs Mr. Osama Alorrayedh and a number of BIIP officials.
The Minister reviewed the latest development of industrial sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing to the vision and strategies adopted by the government and its success in making Bahrain an investment gateway for various projects.
The minister confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes all investments that contribute to raise the rates of economic growth and investment, especially in light of government and Ministry orientations and strategies in developing legislation and procedures for commercial, investment and tourism activities to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. ​
