Sijilat 2.0
The "Sijilat" system in its second version, which was developed and improved in cooperation and work with the private sector and is characterized by the integration of its electronic services to facilitate the extraction and management of commercial records for investors. The system provides all information related to the rules, guidelines and procedures that must be followed to obtain commercial records in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the requirements of the authorities related to commercial activities, in addition to a summary of the business environment in the Kingdom and corporate governance, and the selection of the legal form of the establishment and the requirements for registration and notation in the register of the commercial establishment.
Bankruptcy Law
The first law applied in the Gulf according to the best international standards. The debtor or its creditors are allowed to initiate proceedings if the debtor fails to pay the debts within 30 days, allowing the bankrupt company to retain its administrative units. The court is allowed to appoint an independent bankruptcy trustee to assist the debtor with recommendations and action plans. The bankruptcy trustee also assists the debtor in working on a reorganization plan and provides a detailed inventory of its assets.

As a result, intellectual property protection will be secured for the inventions of academic staff and students alike, and it will facilitate the process of negotiating licensing requirements, and it will also speed up the process of marketing and commercialization of innovations and products.
