H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro Minister of Industry and Commerce held a meeting with Baroness Poppy Gustafsson, UK Minister of Investment, as part of her official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting discussed bilateral investment cooperation frameworks and new opportunities to expand partnership to serve the strategic and development directions and visions of both countries.

Minister Fakhro affirmed Bahrain keenness to continue strengthening aspects of cooperation with the UK in all fields, especially economy, noting the role that the private sector in both countries can play in supporting trade and economic exchange.

Moreover, the Minister highlighted the most prominent characteristics of the investment environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the development initiatives undertaken by the government to attract diversified investments.
