H.E. Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro met with H.E. Dr. Raja Al Marzouqi, newly appointed General Coordinator for Negotiations and Head of the negotiating team of the GCC, where H.E. congratulated him on his new position and the confidence granted to him by the Ministerial Council, wishing him success in his new post.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed the pivotal role of the negotiating teams to prepare the suitable grounds to advance the unified Gulf economic work to draw global strategic partnerships and international economic groups, which contributes to advancing the process of economic integration through joint plans and programs among GCC countries.

The meeting also reviewed a number of topics related to the negotiating file, negotiating teams and a number of topics of common interest, and was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce H.E.  Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, and a number of officials from both sides.

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received in his office H.E. MP Ahmed Al-Salloum, Chairman of the Bahrain SMEs Development Society and a number of society members, to discuss issues related to the SMEs sector in Bahrain.

Minister Fakhro affirmed the Ministry's support for the SMEs sector, which is witnessing a remarkable growth thanks to the government's aid and support.  

For his part, H.E. Al-Salloum, affirmed that the concerted strategic efforts of relevant authorities to support SMEs contributed significantly to the growth and prosperity of this sector. Hailing all government efforts in this regard.

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received businessman Yousif Salahuddin in his office, where they reviewed the latest developments in the economic and commercial sector Bahrain.

H.E. the Minister hailed the efforts of the private sector in developing the national economy, praising the partnership between the private sector and the government, in terms of implementing valuable economic and development projects, as well as attracting more projects to diversify and grow the economy.​

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, stressed the vital role of banking sector institutions in advancing economic development, and the advanced positive results they provide that directly contribute to activating the investment movement in this sector.

This came during a meeting with Citibank Group CEO Michel Sawaya, where they discussed a number of topics related to economic affairs and banking in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister hailed Bahrain's banking and finance sector, pointing out its effective role in attracting foreign investments and localizing them in Bahrain.

H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, praised the initiatives of the Bahraini private sector and its continuous contributions to strengthening the national economy.

This came during a meeting between H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce and Mr. Hassan Kaiksow, CEO of Uco Engineering Company, a subsidiary of BAK Group, where they reviewed the developments of the industrial and commercial sector in Bahrain.

The Minister noted that the ministry is working continuously with concerned authorities to provide more facilities to ensure the flow of local and foreign investments in the Kingdom, praising the cooperation between the public and private sectors, in terms of implementing valuable economic and commercial projects.

HE Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed the depth of relations between Bahrain and India, stressing the importance of leveraging these historical relations to develop economic partnerships and achieve common goals.

This came during a meeting held by the Minister of Industry and Commerce with the Secretary (CPV & OIA) in India's Ministry of External Affairs, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the sixth session of consultations between Bahrain and India.

The meeting reviewed a number of common economic issues, and discussed Bahrain's attractive investment environment, as well as the initial positive results of the official visit of the Bahrain's economic delegation to India, headed by Minister Fakhro.  ​

For his part, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed hailed the great efforts made by the Government of Bahrain to develop investment flow and economic cooperation between the two sides. 

Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed the development and progress of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq at various levels, and ways to enhance their industrial and commercial cooperation. 

This came during a meeting between the Minister of Industry and Commerce and Iraqi embassy Charge D'Affaires Mr. Abdulsalam Muhaisen, where they discussed a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and their positive developments, noting the importance of enhancing joint cooperation and developing industrial and commercial relations to achieve common visions.   ​
