
WestPoint Home Bahrain inaugurated its new production line yesterday evening at the company’s textile factory in the Al-Mazraa Industrial zone, Askar. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mrs. Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development,H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ms. Elizabeth Litchfield, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain; as well as senior officials from both sides.
The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the industrial sector as a key pillar of sustainable economic development. He highlighted that the new production line reflects the strong strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States and the ongoing growth of industrial and investment cooperation.
During a field tour, His Excellency praised the advanced technologies used in the production line and emphasized its role in enhancing the Kingdom’s industrial infrastructure and the capacity of national factories to supply local, regional, and global markets with high-quality products.
This expansion aligns with the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022–2026) and marks a significant step for WestPoint Home Bahrain, one of the leading U.S. industrial investments in the Kingdom, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a regional industrial hub and supporting economic diversification through international partnerships.
