H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the twenty-ninth edition of the Partnership Summit 2024, organized by the Federation of Indian Industry (CII) in cooperation with the Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with the participation of representatives of countries and international companies from around the world.

HE the Minister stressed the great importance of this summit in supporting the efforts of participating governments and countries in enhancing regional and international cooperation in various development fields. pointing out India’s role as one of the most important economic countries with a distinguished historical economic civilization. Expressing his hope that the summit will achieve its ambitious goals in strengthening economic partnerships and forming new frameworks for global economic cooperation.

On the sidelines of the Summit, HE the Minister of Industry and Commerce met with HE Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India Piyush Goyal, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of industry, trade and investment.

This year's summit will discuss a number of topics, most notably trade and the future of industry, sustainability and climate, technology and development, and expanding the scope of dialogue and international cooperation to achieve global development.
