Minister of Industry and Commerce Launches the First Bahraini-Omani Perfume Exhibition and attends Inauguration of Bahraini-Omani Friendship Society

H.E. Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, affirmed Bahrain's keenness to enrich investment opportunities and build strategic cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals, by supporting and adopting projects that enhance local economy, such as the conference and exhibition industry and seeking to attract many international and regional exhibitions to make Bahrain a high standard global exhibition center.

This came during the opening ceremony of the first Bahraini-Omani Perfume Exhibition, under H.E's patronage. H.E. was greeted by number of GCC and Arab Ambassadors. The event is held in the Avenues Mall and organized by the Zari International Consulting and Exhibitions Company and the Bahraini-Omani Friendship Society, with the participation of a wide selection of local and regional Perfume companies and specialists.

Moreover, H.E. witnessed the launch ceremony of the Bahraini-Omani Friendship Society, in a step to increase joint coordination between both countries. Noting the deep historical relations that bind both countries, and their governments' keenness to maintain and strengthen these ties.

The Minister and attendees toured the exhibition and listened to a detailed explanation by CEO of Zari International Consulting and Exhibitions Ms. Zahra Baqer about the importance of the exhibition which takes place between 1st and 3rd September, and its expected gains. As well as the events surrounding it. The event hosts 20 participants from Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.

H.E. was also briefed on the future project of the Bahrain Virtual Museum, the first of its kind in the world, a project that relies on virtual reality to achieve strategic objectives in various fields in Bahrain, especially education, tourism and e-commerce, supporting development in accordance with 2030 Vision, and keeping pace with digital transformation and current technological development and communication. Which in turn increases the demand for experts in the field of modern technologies, including research, training and empowerment of youth for future jobs in collaboration with the government.
