HE Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received in his office this morning H.E. Ambassador Hassan Kleib, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and his accompanying delegation as part of an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister stressed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with United Nations organizations, especially the World Intellectual Property Organization, and particularly in the fields of intellectual property protection and supporting innovation. 

The meeting also discussed a series of future initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property in supporting innovation and economic growth.

For his part, Ambassador Kleib hailed Bahrain’s efforts in promoting and supporting the field of intellectual property.
