- General supervision and control over the implementation of laws, regulations and orders issued regarding commercial agencies, authorized distributor, and commercial licenses.
- Review licensing applications for the activity of the authorized distributor and all supporting documents according to laws and regulations.
- Review application for registering commercial agencies and all supporting documents according to laws and regulations.
- Review application for issuing commercial licenses according to laws and regulations.
- Collection of fees for the services provided by the directorate.
- Establish and supervise the registry and database of authorized distributors, commercial agencies, and commercial licenses.
- Review renewal applications and all other applications for commercial agencies and licenses to practice authorized distributor activity.
- Coordinate with all relevant parties to exchange information and develop services.
- Conduct studies relevant to the directorate’s scope of work and propose the necessary policies and plans for developing the investment environment.
- Prepare awareness plans and materials through various means to disseminate and clarify information related to commercial licenses, commercial agencies, and authorized distributors.
- Provide various services to investors and work on facilitating their commercial procedures.
